{{indexmenu_n>50}} ====== Statistics and the Rating ====== ===== The Game Statistics ===== The results table opens from the game card. The rows are teams, the columns are tasks; a cell holds the time it took, and next to the place stands an arrow if the team has moved since the last refresh. Above the table, the panel: * **"Teams: N · Tasks: M"** and the state of the game — "the game has not started", "the game is on", "the game is over". * A refresh button and **"Show the History"** — a slider that winds the table back to any moment of the game. * **"Sorting"** — by the best time of a task, the real time, the bonuses, the total time, the number of answers or the final place. * The **"Tasks"** menu — which columns to show; with a search by name and a checkbox of its own for "Placeholders". * The **"View"** menu — "Pin the place and the result", "Pin the task names", "Drag the table with the mouse". * The **"Final"** switch — if everything in the game is already open. ==== Highlighting Teams ==== **A click on any cell highlights the whole team** — across every column at once; a second click removes it. Up to **five** teams can be held at a time, each in its own colour. The highlighted ones gather as chips above the table: the colour, the name and an "×". Hovering a chip thickens that team's rows and draws a dashed line between its cells — you can see where it was ahead and where it fell behind. **Your own team the page highlights by itself** when you first open it. ==== If the Statistics Are Closed ==== The author may restrict them, and then instead of the table there will be a line explaining why: * "The game has not started yet"; * "The statistics in this game are hidden"; * "The statistics in this game are abridged"; * "The statistics in this game are available to playing teams only"; * "The statistics in this game are available to finished teams only". ==== On a Phone ==== The place and result columns are **pinned from the start** — they stay in view while the table is dragged sideways. The panel head unfolds into two lines, the menus open across the full width, and columns have to be hidden through the "Tasks" menu: there is no per-column eye on a narrow screen. ===== The Codes Map ===== The codes map shows, task by task, which team took which code. It opens from the icon in the header of a task column on the statistics page. > **Until the game ends the map is closed** — "The codes map is hidden until the end of the game". The author and the admin always see it. The columns are grouped: **"Codes"**, **"Task bonuses"**, **"Through bonuses"**. The legend is built from what this game actually has: ^ Mark ^ What it means ^ | **code taken** | taken with an ordinary answer | | **not taken** | an empty outlined cell — the code was never taken | | **bonus in plus** | a plate with a "+" | | **penalty** | a plate with a "−" | | **through, taken outside the task** | the same "+", but outlined | | **the same, a penalty** | an outlined "−" | | **taken, no bonus** | the code counted but brought no points | | **not answered** | a dashed cell — the team never got this far | The time can be shown as **local** or **real**, and at the bottom of every column stands how many teams took that code. ===== The Season Rating ===== Several of a domain's games may be gathered into a **season**: ''/ratings.php'' is the list of seasons, and from there the table. A team's season total is **not always all of its games**: * the **best N ordinary** games are counted, and a banner above the table says so — but only when the limit actually cuts something off; * **special** games are always counted and take up none of those N; such a game is tagged "special" in its column header; * a result that did not make the cut is **struck through**, with "not counted" written under it; * in the "Season total" column, next to the sum, stands "Games: N" and, when not all of them counted, ", counted: M" as well. The **"Games"** menu above the table lets you take a game out of the view — and the scoring is immediately recomputed without it. This changes nothing for anybody but you on this page. A click on a cell highlights the team across every game, the same as on the statistics page. ===== The Review of a Game ===== Once the game is over, you are asked to rate it: five stars, **the left half of a star is half a point**, and under the stars the grade in words — from "Very, very, very bad game" to "A masterpiece". * **The score is saved on the click.** The text of the review is sent by a button of its own, so abandoning the form halfway is no loss. * The review carries a choice: **"Everyone"** or **"Authors only"**. * The form comes twice: on the "game over" screen and then as a row on the main page — for a month after the game ends. Close it with "Not now" and it comes back as the "Rate it now" link. * The rating is given by those who were in the game **for at least half of their team's levels**, and only by those who played with one team. If there are no stars, the form itself says how many levels you opened. ===== See Also ===== * [[en:players_main:gameplay|Enrolling, entering and the game itself]] * [[en:players_main:teams|The team]]
